About

Kerri Sheffield, M.A., C.C.C.

I grew up in Plano, TX where I met and married my high school sweetheart. We have 2 dogs Grace and Chloe (a Border Collie and Chihuahua) that we're obsessed with and take with us anywhere we can. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places (and do as often as we can), hiking, movies, musicals, baking, and Tex Mex. Big fan of Arkansas Razorbacks football (Woo Pig Sooie!!) and Dallas Cowboys football. I also like the Dallas Mavericks. Very close to my family back in Texas.

I chose speech pathology on a suggestion from my mom who works with special needs preschoolers. I loved working with kids, but did not want to be a teacher. I took a few intro classes and never looked back. The thing I love most about speech pathology is helping kids recognize and bring out their unique personalities and communicative abilities.
