About

JORDAN JAKOMIN, M.S., C.F., R.P.E.

After growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, obtaining his graduate degree in Iowa, and interning at Stanford University, Jordan settled in the Los Angeles area to develop the school based speech therapy program at STEM, a charter middle school/high school in south central LA. Working for JHSP, Inc., on a part-time basis, Jordan brings his enthusiasm and boundless passion for the field.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys hanging out at the beach, hiking and snowboarding. He ultimately hopes to travel the world, become fluent in Spanish and eventually pursue a doctoral degree.

He first became interested in Speech Pathology as a teen volunteer in a center for disabled children and adults. He feels being a speech pathologist allows him to be very creative and he enjoys being able to empower patients and their families on a daily basis.
