About

Cayla Kurland, M.A., C.C.C., S.L.P.

As a Southern California native, Cayla has also lived in Boston, Chicago, New York City and Denver. She stumbled upon the "Communication Disorders" major in her university bulletin and knew immediately this would be her professional calling.

Outside of work, Cayla enjoys playing with her dog Charlee, hiking, kickboxing, baking and has just started vegetable gardening. She enjoys visiting her sister and friends in New York City as well as traveling to Europe and hopes to visit Australia and Fiji one day.

As the daughter of a Canadian mom, Cayla indicates hockey is a favorite sport. She claims to love artsy coffee shops, vegetarian food, reading and watching foreign films. Her greatest joy as a speech pathologist is seeing breakthroughs in therapy and being in a profession which is constantly expanding and changing.
